Moubment is an independent creative studio led by award-winning director Johnny Moubarak. We specialise in bringing stories to life through TVCs, documentaries, music videos and branded content with a distinctive eye for authentic, character-driven storytelling. 

Johnny's Kina Bank campaign earned BADC Silver for Directing and Bronze for Sound, with selection for Berlin Commercial Raw 2022. He was one of five Queensland creatives chosen for Screen Queensland's Bradford Winters Series Lab and selected for AFTRS QLD Talent Camp and the ADG Local To Global initiative.

Beyond filmmaking, Johnny is part of the family behind Gerard's Bistro - Brisbane Times Restaurant of the Year, 2 Chef Hats, Gourmet Traveller Top 100 - and the wider Moubment Group hospitality portfolio. That dual life in hospitality and film shaped his understanding of connection, warmth and making people feel welcome, whether on set or at the table.

Our work has taken us across Australia and throughout the Pacific region, from Port Moresby to Beirut to Samoa. This experience gives us an intimate understanding of diverse cultures and the ability to connect with audiences that larger agencies simply can't replicate.
